How to fill the form out
The components are shown on a standardised form. The set-up of this form is always identical.
Drawing and geometrical data
Fill in the request fields. Where these are already filled in, check this data carefully.
Groove specifications
Fill in the request fields. Let us know the requested informations dependent on groove design (see elevator manual). Please note the "harden" option. We would be happy to supply 1 or 2 rope clamps as well if desired.
Customer details
Enter company name and contact. Entry of a project name is for your convenience.
For all drawings:
The right hand side of the traction sheave is always that facing the drive and is called "Inner".
Measurements called "Outer" refer to the side away from the drive.
All measurements always in [mm].
Space measurement is vital
Traction sheaves exist in many variants. Examples are those with and without hubs. Hub width can be smaller, greater or equal to the rim width. For convenience's sake, we have not included this detail on the forms.
Even if this means your traction sheave not looking exactly like that on the form, these variants can nevertheless be specified precisely using Space measurement.
Please follow the applicable conventions as shown in the examples below.
Example 1:
Space entered on form as 0.
Example 2:
Space entered on form with preceding "+" sign.
Example 3:
Space entered on form with preceding "-" sign.
